You are your child/children are invited to meet artist, Sue Anderson Gioulis as she reads her new book "You're Lovable To Me". This wonderful story is perfect for children ages 2 - 6.

While your children enjoy the reading, parents can enjoy light refreshment and browse our diverse collection or fine art, crafts, jewelry, photography, wearable and edible art.

February 6th and 7th is Chocolate Lovers Weekend in Ocean Grove. Enjoy Inn-side Open House, Hunt for Hearts, Winter Walk and narrated horse and carriage rides. Contact the Chamber of Commerce office for details on these events at 800-388-4768 or www.oceangrovenj.com.

Books will be available for purchase following the reading. Each child will receive a free chocolate bunny, hand made by chocolate artist Michele Walker, with purchase.

Winter Art Class Schedule

We will be offering classes in oil painting, watercolor painting, print making, crochet and paper quilling this winter. Contact the store right away if you are interested in taking a class to reserve your seat. Space is extremely limited. A minimum of 5 students is required per class.

Our artists will be teaching these beginner to intermediate level classes. All classes will be from 5pm - 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted. All classes will be held at our store.

January 22 - February 19th - Crochet Class

5 - 6:30 PM

Beginner & Intermediate Crochet Class with

Norma Tolliver. Beginners will make a hat and scarf. Intermediate students will make a poncho.

Materials list will be provided with registration.

Cost is $85 per student excluding materials.

Class will be held each Friday beginning 1/22/10 at 5pm - 6:30pm. Registration fee is non-refundable.

January 25 - February 22 - Print Making

5 - 6:30 PM

Beginner Level Print Making with Kim Siracusa. Studies will create blocks that can be used to create prints, notecards, etc. Materials list will provided during first class. Cost is $85 per student excluding materials. Class will be held each Monday beginning January 25th at 5pm - 6:30pm. Registration fee is non-refundable.

January 27 - February 24th - Oil Painting Class

5 - 6:30 PM

Introduction to oil painting and painting basics with Ken Ahlering. Students will learn the fundamentals of perspective, and composition while creating artwork using oil paints. Oderless mineral spirits and zec will be used in place of stronger smelling alternatives. Students should arrive at first class with a sketch book and pencils. A materials list will be provided during the first class. Cost is $85 per student excluding materials. Class will be held each Wednesday beginning January 27th at 5pm - 6:30pm. Registration fee is non-refundable.

January 28 - February 25 - Water Color Class

5 - 6:30 PM

Introduction to water color painting and painting basics with James Ferrier. Students will learn the fundamentals of perspective and composition while creating artwork using water color paints. A complete list of materials will be provided upon registration. Cost is $85 per student excluding materials. Class will be held each Thursday beginning January 28th at 5pm - 6:30pm. Registration is non-refundable.

March 18 - March 19th - Paper Quilling Workshop

5 - 6:30 PM

Introduction to paper quilling with Melissa Crocetti. Students will learn the basics of paper quilling and can expect to complete two projects. All materials are included. This is a two day workshop Wed. 3/18 - Thurs. 3/19 5pm - 6:30pm each day. Cost is $55 per student including materials. Registration is non-refundable.
